INDIA'S FORMULA 1 CIRCUIT .....

Yes, India is rising and rising fast. With the likes of, Force India F1 team of Dr.Vijay Mallya, Mahindra participating in Moto GP , also with F1(Formula 1) drivers like Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandok, India has proved its worthiness with participation in International Motorsport events.Now India is ready with its Formula 1 racing circuit.The Circuit is named as BUDDH INTERNATIONAL CIRCUITThe circuit is situated at Gautam Buddh nagar in Greater Noida region near New Delhi. According to MR. Sameer Gaur, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Jaypee Sports International, the circuit has been named after the inspirational Lord Gautam Buddha, and also the Gautam buddh nagar where the circuit is demographically located.

Here is the official logo of the circuit.The circuit is developed in 2500 acres of land, and is a part of The Jaypee's Green Sports city. Sources have claimed that it will be the second fastest circuit in the world after Monza Circuit. The circuit will be 5.4 kms long and it will have 16 bends(turns).The highest elevated point is at 14 meters from base and the width of the track is between 18 to 20 meters.Top speed for an F1 Car will be around 320 KM/HR and the approximate time required to complete one lap of the circuit will be 1min 27sec. 


The circuit is designed by the a famous German Architect Herman Tilke, who has also designed for Chinese circuit.The circuit will cost around  40 billion rupees. The provision for the audience stand will be around 110,000 people. The circuit will be hosting its first race at 30th of October for the first Indian Grand Prix.
